2015 SP/OLA FESTIVALS We are happy to announce that the preparations for our 2015 festivals for our parishes are well underway! SP Parish will celebrate their Harvest Festival on Sunday, Oct. 4 beginning at 11:30 am on the church grounds. The chairman for the SP Harvest Festival is Joyce Spencer. The OLA Fall Festival is scheduled this year for Sunday, Sept. 20 beginning at 11 am on the church grounds. The OLA festival chairman is Tony Sandy. Please note that the OLA Fall Festival this year will be celebrated on the second Sunday after Labor Day instead of the first Sunday following labor Day. The date was changed to accommodate the 100th anniversary celebration of the Nicholson Bridge. Also, it was decided by the Pastoral Council and Father Petro that the festival return to its format prior to 1992: a one-day event.A planning meeting for the OLA festival will be held Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30 pm in OLA hall. All OLA parishioners are invited to attend and learn about the new festival format.
